2016 Christmas Party

Once again a few of got together for a Christmas do.

This time Lord Pocock arranged a treat of Go Kart racing for those who's body could contort into a kart without risking having to go into traction for the holiday season.

The winner was Geoff himself but everyone who took part had a great time.

There are a few photos of the drivers getting ready and some on the track but it was not easy to get numbers of cars because they were moving quite fast

We then all moved off to the Holiday Inn at Maidenhead for the more refined part of the celebration to take place.

After a session in the bar we all went to our rooms to prepare for the evening meal and dance.

We then met up in the bar once again (no surprise there) and drank until we were called into our tables.

After a splendid meal, more drink and dancing we all retired to our beds at about 1:30ish.

It was a great evening with smashing company.

Thank you Geoff for your first class organisation once again.

Thanks to John and Julie, Von, Geoff and Lee  for the photos.

May you all have a Happy Christmas and a Healthy Happy and Prosperous New Year.

Roll on the 2017 boating season.

Linda & Mick the Stick
