We had another great get together at the MDL BBQ Party held at Bray Marina.

Many thanks to our host MDL and Bray Marina, we all gathered with friends and families at Bray Marina on Saturday 17 September 2011

MDL organsied a mobile food wagon that supplied everyone who required it with a large selection of cooked suppers from Fish & Chips to Vegetarian food at no charge. The food was exellent and the portions were large, Many thanks to MDL from us all.

Lee the Fish spent a long time preparing at lunch time and then cooking his magic fish kebabs in the evening, they were fantastic and I can still taste them now.
There was also food of every discription cooked and supplied by all the group ladies under the organisation and direction of Yvonne as per usual.

Speedy had organised a singer for 15:00 hrs
DYLAN
and not Carlos as Speedy had told everyone. This man was a great talent and managed to sings songs until18:30hrs that pleased everyone and at sometime had each of us singing, as my throat and that of Lee, Linda and I am sure many others told us the next morning when we tried to speak.

There was a quiz and Disco in a main Tent that looked like it used to belong to Colonel Gaddafi and the dancing went on until very late (I can't say what time as I crept off early as I planned to get up to watch the rugby in the early hours of Sunday morning).

The Windsor Marina group won the Tug-Of-War and I believe best tent competion.

I have posted some photo's (not many as my camera battery went flat) if you have any that you would like posted please get them to me and I will add them later.
Many thanks to all those who prepared everything, the happy houses, the lights, the genny's, tables and food it is all this work  beforehand that makes these outings so special.
Happy birthday to John The Sea Stig and Carol (Miss August) from everyone.
Mick the Stick
